Community involvement has always been central to both Dr. Tatiana’s personal and professional life. Currently, she volunteers at Bay Laurel Elementary school where her daughter Temple attends fourth grade, as well as leading several local initiatives: the Business Owners Network, which supports entrepreneurs in growing and scaling their businesses; Athletes & Entertainers of Calabasas and Surrounding Areas, which provides entrepreneurial scholarships to students; and Special Needs Connect, a group dedicated to connecting individuals and families with meaningful resources and support.
The lattermost initiative is particularly relevant, as she is the proprietor of Private Care & Continuity Planning Calabasas, a highly personalized, comprehensive care model for seniors, veterans, and autistic individuals. Her practice supports families across every stage of care with services that include psychological evaluations, clinical therapies, professional staffing and caregiving, family education, and long-term care continuity planning.
She founded her practice approximately five years ago, during the height of the pandemic in 2021. The period of collective crisis that COVID-19 resulted in, combined with a broader societal awakening at the time around inequities in healthcare and social systems deeply shaped her sense of purpose and inspired her to take the path she did.
“Witnessing how profoundly health disparities impacted families, particularly those without access to quality mental and behavioral healthcare, compelled me to create a practice centered on advocacy, education, and access,” she tells us. “What began as a mission to help families navigate available resources has evolved into a comprehensive care model focused on dignity, continuity, and long-term stability.”
Though she was born and raised in Northridge, in 2023, a few years into having her practice, Dr. Tatiana moved to Calabasas with her daughter. The community has been genuinely welcoming, and she hopes to keep getting to know the people of her home through her work and contributing how she can to the community. In addition to the previously mentioned initiatives, she also proudly sponsors and donates to community events in support of autism awareness and individuals with related learning differences throughout Ventura County. In her words: “Giving back is not just something I do—it’s a core part of how I live and how I serve the community I call home.”
It should come as no surprise, then, that the philosophy behind her business is grounded in servant leadership, responsible stewardship, and a belief in building lasting legacies of both health and wealth. Her goal as an individual and as a leader of a practice is to lead with care, integrity, and accountability, and her intention is to empower families, protect their futures, and assist them in building stability that can extend across generations.
One of the best parts of the job, to her, are the people she gets to work alongside – remarkable professionals including psychologists, BCBAs, realtors, CPAs, human resource specialists, and estate planning attorneys, many of whom bring specialized experience in serving individuals with special needs.
Those dynamic collaborations, she says, keep every day of work engaging and unique. “One moment we may be strategizing clinical care, and the next we’re problem-solving around housing, education, or long-term planning. The intellectual exchange, shared purpose, and genuine camaraderie within this group bring both energy and joy to the work. It constantly reminds me that we’re not simply building a practice—we’re cultivating a community of leaders who are making a real difference.”
In being a part of every step of the process, the doctor and her fellow experts make it easier to build trust between professionals and the families they serve, which is imperative in their line of work. Dr. Tatiana is hugely motivated by the opportunities her work gives her to bring people together around critical conversations. Topics like special needs, disabilities, and healthcare challenges are rarely discussed openly in many communities, which can leave families feeling isolated and unsure where to turn. The value of being able to have a trusted, discreet space to approach such conversations – particularly with compassion and dignity – cannot be overstated, and Dr. Tatiana’s greatest joy in her work is being able to offer that. She takes pride in providing education, clarity, and guidance to her clients that leaves them informed and, as a result, confident.
“A message I often share is: ‘In the realm of private care, continuity is the ultimate expression of stewardship—an intentional, enduring guardianship of one’s life and legacy.’ To me, this means that meaningful care is never transactional or short-term. True care is thoughtful, coordinated, and designed to endure across life stages. Continuity of care honors dignity, protects family values, and preserves long-term wellbeing. My hope for our community is that families feel empowered to plan proactively, seek support early, and view care not as a last resort, but as one of the most meaningful investments they can make in their loved ones and their legacy.”
